Ford was a long-running and successful career as a metal performer after the band split in 1979. She began taking voice lessons before releasing her first album 'Dancin' at the Edge'. Ford went missing for several years in the rock world after the release of both albums. In 1988, Ford returned into the spotlight thanks to her smash album "Lita". Both the track "Kiss Me Deadly" and the ballad "Close My Eyes forever" were big hits. The problem was that her popularity was brief, and she vanished for a few years. The "Black" album came out in 1995. Her 'Wicked Wonderland" released almost fifteen years later. The album she released in the year 2016 titled 'Time-Capsule. Guitar Player Magazine gave her The Certified Guitar Legend Award.
